Two vintage 1920's-40's sterling silver poison rings. Delicate bohemian style intricate filigree floral and scroll motifs surround the band and frame the center of these eclectic rings. A small faux 2 mm turquoise stone is featured on the center front of each ring that opens to reveal a hidden 6 mm square compartment. These rings, often referred to as "poison rings" or "locket rings," have a hidden compartment beneath the stone, traditionally used to hold perfume, keepsakes, or, historically, poison.Unique and rare, both rings have a lovely oxidized silver patina developed organically overtime that can easily be removed with silver cleaner if desired. Adjustable open sizing for "one size fits most" makes these rings an equitable selection for most fingers.
